Welcome to North Okanagan Junior Academy. We are a Seventh-day Adventist school located in Armstrong, BC. We are accredited by the Board of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and approved by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia as a Class 1 funded Independent School. Our staff are committed to providing quality education in a Christ-filled environment.
"It is the work of true education...to train the youth to be thinkers, and not mere reflectors of other men's thought...True education means more than the pursuit of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come." -- Education, pgs 13-17 ADMISSION POLICY: Attendance at NOJA is voluntary and admission should be considered a privilege by students who appreciate its unique character and ideals. NOJA is sponsored and mainly financed by Seventh-day Adventists. The school was established for Seventh-day Adventist's students, however, no particular religious affiliation is required for admission. We invite you to find out more about our school. Call us to schedule a visit, or explore online. To see what is happening at our school you can check our calendar, news, visit our classrooms or see what our alumni are doing. Our school is part of the world-wide Seventh-day Aventist school network.
