 Welcome to North Okanagan Junior Academy. We are a Seventh-day Adventist school located in Armstrong, BC.  We are accredited by the Board of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and approved by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia as a Class 1 funded Independent School.

Our staff are committed to providing quality education in a Christ-filled environment.       
 

MISSION STATEMENT:
Every child is unique and of inestimable value in God's sight.  We are committed to providing a balanced program integrating the four dimensions of Christian education:  academic, spiritual, physical and social growth while developing in students an inquiring mind, a respect for others and the desire to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

ADMISSION POLICY:

    Attendance at NOJA is voluntary and admission should be considered a privilege by students who appreciate its unique character and ideals.  NOJA is sponsored and mainly financed by Seventh-day Adventists.  The school was established for Seventh-day Adventist's students, however, no particular religious affiliation is required for admission.
   Any student and/or parent who expresses and demonstrates a sincere desire for Christian education and pledges to live in accordance to the principles outlined in our Handbook is welcome to apply for admission.
     Accepted new students are all on a 1-3 month probationary period.
