North Okanagan Junior Academy

Educating the whole child for eternity

“To increase in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man”

We follow Jesus’ example by nurturing each child’s growth as a whole person: academically, physically, spiritually and socially.

Growing spiritually

We exist to help students grow in their love for Jesus…

Growing academically

Our goal is to develop Christians with wisdom, not just…

Growing physically

Making healthy choices is a way of honoring our bodies as…

Growing socially

Loving and serving others is part of God’s plan for…

NOJA has been in Armstrong for 108 years.  Our school is a Class 1 Independent School accredited by the BC Ministry of Education, and operated by the BC Conference of Seventh Day Adventists.   All Faiths are welcome at our school.

You are investing in your child’s future, and they deserve the best.  With smaller class sizes, and our strong school curriculum, we believe NOJA provides a far better alternative.

We have been setting the bar high for 108 years. We deliver a superb, well-rounded education underscored by a culture of citizenship, and provide a range of opportunities and learning tools that children need to explore and realize their potential in a Christian field environment.

NOJA is a vibrant community that embraces families and provides individual attention for students. All students participate in a breadth of athletic, artistic and academic co-curricular activities.

We all make priorities in life, and we believe your child’s education is at the top of your list.  So join NOJA and enjoy smaller class sizes, and our strong school curriculum.

As a parent you want the best for your child.  And as teachers, so do we.

We believe that the best education results when Christ is at the center of all we do, the Bible is our foundation and students learn through a whole child approach––nurturing their growth spiritually, academically, physically and socially.  We invite you to visit us and learn more about how this happens at our school.

“We believe the Adventist advantage in education is due to a holistic approach taken by the school system. There’s an unusual commitment to educating the mind, body and spirit.”
